koru #200

This is actually yesterday's koru but thanks to the crashing of the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market website, I wasn't able to get the artist info until today. This absolutely gorgeous piece of jewelry was created by Serzhan Bashirov of Kazakhstan. I wish I had photographed more of his stuff because much of it included spiral motifs including a ring I nearly bought but didn't because I just don't ever wear rings.
