One of the women in my writing retreat wore a gorgeous necklace all week. Of course I completely forgot to ask what kind of stone it was because the wrapped silver wire koru had me mesmerized.

I also forgot to check the photo before I let her leave, so it's out of focus, but you get the idea. It's a beauty even blurry.
